Boundaries and walls

So I havent had a chance to write anything recently because I just started this job working for a private ambulance company (praise GOD for employment). If you dont know anything about EMS the hours are very crazy. But I am back now, and have a moment to just share my heart.

It all started when I heard someone say “GOD only helps those who help themselves.”

When I heard that something inside me was quickened so I did some seeking. I came to the conclusion that the statement was a lie. GOD helps everyone, and that the statement only attempts to set a boundary on GOD (which is impossible, because the water of life is endless and limitless)

We often times do this to each other and to ourselves. We establish boundaries solely because people believe in JESUS differently then we do. but GOD clearly states in the word to not do this.

ROMANS 14:1-13

The Law of Liberty

Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things. For one believes he may eat all things, but he who is weak eats only vegetables. Let not him who eats despise him who does not eat, and let not him who does not eat judge him who eats; for God has received him. Who are you to judge another’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.

One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind. He who observes the day, observes it to the Lord; and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it. He who eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks; and he who does not eat, to the Lord he does not eat, and gives God thanks. For none of us lives to himself, and no one dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s. For to this end Christ died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living. 10 But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you show contempt for your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. 11 For it is written:

As I live, says the Lord,
Every knee shall bow to Me,
And every tongue shall confess to God.”

12 So then each of us shall give account of himself to God. 13 Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother’s way.

MARK 9:38-40

Jesus Forbids Sectarianism

38 Now John answered Him, saying, “Teacher, we saw someone who does not follow us casting out demons in Your name, and we forbade him because he does not follow us.”

39 But Jesus said, “Do not forbid him, for no one who works a miracle in My name can soon afterward speak evil of Me. 40 For he who is not against us is on our side.

Maybe you have set some boundaries in your life or built some walls out of anger or hurt. either intentionally or unintentionally they have been built. Maybe you know it and just want to tear them down but don’t know how. Well let me tell you a little story about a man named Joshua, (not me Joshua but the Joshua from the bible) there was a wall in his way but GOD told him walk around this wall for seven days and on the seventh day walk around it seven times all while praising and on the very last day blow the trumpet and shout and the wall came crashing down

Joshua 6:20

20 So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat. Then the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.

If we shout that same shout with praise and blow that same trumpet our walls come down too. So if you have a wall in your life standing in your way or if you have a wall around heart shout his praise and allow him in and it will crumble.

as always thank you for hearing the impressions of my heart and remember

Stay safe.

Stay real.

Laugh to heal.
