This is my rifle

In boot camp you first learn that your weapon is an extension of your body. Everywhere you go, your  weapon goes also. In some occasions you even sleep with your weapon. You then continue that same idea throught your enlistment, well I feel like as Christians we must have that same stigma and gumption with our sword, which is the living word of GOD. We must breathe it, speak it on every occasion, let it saturate our every fiber and truly become a extension of our whole existence. Just as someone gets scolded(I use that term loosely)when they missuse or treat their weapon poorly, so to shall we train ourselves with the sword of the spirit so when we see people trying to misuse it we may educate them, with love.

Matthew 4:4
But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”

Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Revelation 1:16
In His right hand He held seven stars, and out of His mouth came a sharp two-edged sword; and His face was like the sun shining in its strength.

Ephesians 6:17
And take THE HELMET OF SALVATION, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Battle buddies

I can never stress enough the importance of fellowship, yes we have the word of god, which is the sword of the spirit.

But we still need those to watch our backs.
In the military we did nothing alone and someone far before my time coined the phrase battle buddies. For us it was a term we threw around jokingly, however we knew that we needed each other.

we ate together, we slept together, and GOD knows, we trained together, we fought together, we laughed together, we cried together, and we knew, for the most part, through thick or thin, we had eachothers backs

Well considering the body of Christ is an army shouldn’t it be the same? That no matter what you can rely on your sheild siblings, and I’m not saying go rush out to every Christian you know and try to establish a brotherhood with them, I relize for most people trusting someone is a whole process. What I am  saying though is just please start somewhere. You need to establish a network of prayer warriors, and if you feel uncomfortable asking someone publicly, then by all means ask me, I love praying for people.

Mark 6:7
And He called the twelve to Himself, and began to send them out two bytwo, and gave them power over unclean spirits.

Ecclesiastes 4:12
Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him.
And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

Galatians 6:2
Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

The time is upon us to arise, wake up, and unite! We need to move church! We need to take back our land for the glory of GOD, we need to be of one accord, brothers and sisters! We need to be bold for GOD, we need to pray without ceasing, we need to pray like never before! Our enemy is relentless so shall we be even more so. Dig deep into his word and let it rest in the very marrow of your bones, in every fiber of your being. Put on your full armor every day, this is our watch, and it has just begun so be vigilant

this is our charge to keep no one else’s this season is ours let’s let what we hand down to the next generations of believer be a time of peace and unity.

We have been decived on fundamentally every level as a nation. I’m not saying start a lynch mob, but when someone is seeking approval of something that you know is not right be the voice of truth, with love. If they do not recive it, it’s not you they are denying It’s  GOD. So wake up my sheild siblings, quit settling for milk,

Wake up be the change you seek. Unify, and revival will be upon us, quit waiting on a move of GOD, be a move of GOD

2 timothy 3:12-17
12 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.13 But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them,15 and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Identity crisis

So pre 18 years old I don’t really remember what or where I found my identity. I do know that post 18 I found my identity in being a marine and a warrior, but once I was out it created this whirlwind of depression because I  felt like I had no idea who I was anymore, the enemy used my pain to make me forget all that I had learned along the way, seeking to find my identity through the world. However over the past year I was reawoken and remember all that I was taught, this is when I heard GOD say “Joshua you fight for m find now, and no other.” And though my flesh wrestled with this for a time, I am finally able to relize I am his. I am his spirit warrior. Maybe you struggle with where you’re identity or know someone who does. Then my prayer is for you to find your identity in Christ.

Matthew 5:14-16
14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

John 1:12
12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:

1 Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

When it feels like things are stagnant in your walk its usually for a reason. GOD wants you to take a personal inventory to  see what areas need improvement, but much like an audit or any kind of work review out human minds dread this process. Something we need to remember though is that GOD is not our boss,

he loves us (if your boss loves you that’s cool too) he only wants what is truly for our best and highest good. All he wants is for us to repent and see how we can improve ourselves which in turn will improve the world around us, which will then advance his kingdom here on earth.

James 1:21
21 Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls

Romans 12:2
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Words are weapons

In all that we do, in every area and aspect of our lives, we have the ability to mold the world around us by the things we speak. The word says we have the ability to speak life and the ability to speak death, it is unfortunate that those who speak death often times shout, when those who speak life often times whisper. So if the world around you is doom and gloom take an inventory, if you are not speaking life then try that, if you are thanks, but try to shout life. Just think about this, if you had to ware the words you speak as clothing would you even want to leave the house?

Ephesians 4:29-31
Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear. Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.

Ephesians 5:4
And there must be no filthiness and silly talk, or coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks.

Proverbs 18:21
Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit.
