Okay, so something that has been on my heart lately, is I feel a lot of the time people go to church to feel like they are doing right by god. When, although church is good, the things you learn there shouldn’t stay there when you exit the building. Church is a school, church is a hospital, church is a family, and as Christ says WE are the church, the body of Christ doesn’t NEED a building, the building is just a place to learn how to go forth and do good things. To the world we minister, and it is where we practice what we preach. So to preface my testimony of today, I would like to give all the glory and honor to god for moving through me to wright this, and I would like to pay homage to my church for disciplining me according to the word of god. Okay so having said that, today I was out shopping with my nephew and when it came time to check out the cashier was reading my tattoo, (which is a verse psalms 144:1) and he began to tell me that he was questioning his salvation, which is when holy spirit convicted me to pray for this man right then and there. So my nephew, who is 15 by the way(Strength and courage know no age), and I prayed for this mans salvation right in the middle of the checking out, it was so powerful I almost left without paying. I am in no way trying to glorify myself, these are just the types of things that GOD has commanded his people to do. To go out there and spread the good news, of the gospel of Jesus Christ. At the end of the day you have to remember, you might be the only Jesus that some people get to see, so lets try and do right by the man who gave us eternal life.
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Ezekiel 3 16:21
16 Now it came to pass at the end of seven days that the word of theLord came to me, saying, 17 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me: 18 When I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. 19 Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.
20 “Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die; because you did not give him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand. 21 Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man that the righteous should not sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live because he took warning; also you will have delivered your soul.”
