Will vs Plans

Often I find myself trying to figure out what is in store for my future, just as I am sure many others try and do, but as usual Holy spirit convicted me pretty quickly that what the future holds is for future me, I need to live in this moment, this one right here, because there will not be another one exactly like it, and there may never be another moment at all so i should just enjoy this moment right here, because its a good one. Planning is fine, i’m not saying don’t have a plan, what I am saying is once you have made your plan the Lord will then guide your steps and if it is not in ordinance with his will, trust me, he will definitely find a way to let you know, just be receptive and ready to listen .

Proverbs 16:9

In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps.

Ecclesiastes 11:5

As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Unity Cont.

I don’t feel like my message on this subject was truly complete, I keep hearing strands of 3, and it came to light as of why today. The enemy was trying to retake ground lost, to rebuild strongholds long demolished in my life, and pretty much everyone I’ve talked to today, well I was going on about my business trying to handle it with just my own strength through Christ, I was turning up unsuccessful until a sister joined the Frey with me, even though we were both beginning to feel at ease the negative presence was still showing up, it wasn’t until GOD brought us a third sibling that we were able to completely shake it, that is when GOD spoke to me on the importance of unity and fellowship, when one begins to waiver the other can lend them strength and if three are more a present then the union is unstoppable, so if you are feeling the same way today, or any day even, cry out to your family and we will lend you strength.

Ecclesiastes 4:12(nlt)

A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.

Philemon 1:6

and I pray that the fellowship of your faith may become effective through the knowledge of every good thing which is in you for Christ’s sake.

Hebrews 10:24-25

and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

Strength, unity, and The body of Christ

I have been hearing much on all three of these things lately, and feel like they all tie together. First if you are choosing to fight the good fight alone, you will surely fall, for where you lack in some areas another will be strong in them and where another lacks in some areas you may be strong in them. The phrase united we stand but divided we fall keeps coming to mind. If the enemy seeks to steal kill and destroy, wouldn’t confusing people be his best tactic? By gossiping or spreading rumors or partial truths about someone I feel is the main source. So when you, or a group of people has an issue with someone take it to the individual, if you are talking about someone who is not present, check your motives first, if you hear a brother or sister talking coarsely about someone who is not present be bold enough to put a stop to it. We are at war, it is unseen, and  our enemy has been fighting it for far longer then we have, but with GOD going before us in all things, and us being obedient, by standing for and with one another we can truly be more than conquerors. So I pray that there may be unity within the body, that we may love everyone, especially when its hard and people are coming across as coarse, but more often then not they need love the most, for hurting people hurt people.

Matthew 18:15-17

15 “Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. 16 But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’[a] 17 And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.

1 Corinthians 12:12-14

12 For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into[c] one Spirit. 14 For in fact the body is not one member but many.

Galatians 6:2

Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

In my walk with Christ I have found that no matter what the circumstance one can always have an opportunity to learn. Either good, or bad situations, they teach you what to do, and what not to do. Who you want to be, and who you don’t want to be. If a person who has been put in charge of you has failed to teach you something someone will come along and teach you when you are ready to learn. We are constantly growing constantly changing, and its the beauty  of the whole process. Always seek wisdom from those who have come before, and never be too hard headed to believe that someone has nothing to offer you, Sometimes change may be wanted so bad you try and force it, nothing is ever truly achieved by this, except for more heartache, and sometimes change is resisted because the something new is scary. When changes is wanted and the answer is wait, be thankful for you are being refined or protected in order for it to happen. If change is happening and it is unwanted be receptive of it, it is Holy spirits way of saying you are ready. be thankful in all things, and always have a receptive heart and an open mind.

Ephesians 5: 15-16

Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days

Proverbs 13:10

Where there is strife, there is pride, but wisdom is found in those who take advice.

Proverbs 11:14

Where there is no guidance the people fall, But in abundance of counselors there is victory.

In the feild

Okay, so something that has been on my heart lately, is I feel a lot of the time people go to church to feel like they are doing right by god. When, although church is good, the things you learn there shouldn’t stay there when you exit the building. Church is a school, church is a hospital, church is a family, and as Christ says WE are the church, the body of Christ doesn’t NEED a building, the building is just a place to learn how to go forth and do good things. To the world we minister, and it is where we practice what we preach. So to preface my testimony of today, I would like to give all the glory and honor to god for moving through me to wright this, and I would like to pay homage to my church for disciplining me according to the word of god. Okay so having said that, today I was out shopping with my nephew and when it came time to check out the cashier was reading my tattoo, (which is a verse psalms 144:1) and he began to tell me that he was questioning his salvation, which is when holy spirit convicted me to pray for this man right then and there. So my nephew, who is 15 by the way(Strength and courage know no age), and I prayed for this mans salvation right in the middle of the checking out, it was so powerful I almost left without paying. I am in no way trying to glorify myself, these are just the types of things that GOD has commanded his people to do. To go out there and spread the good news, of the gospel of Jesus Christ. At the end of the day you have to remember, you might be the only Jesus that some people get to see, so lets try and do right by the man who gave us eternal life.

Mark 16:15

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Ezekiel 3 16:21

16 Now it came to pass at the end of seven days that the word of theLord came to me, saying, 17 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me: 18 When I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. 19 Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.

20 “Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die; because you did not give him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand. 21 Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man that the righteous should not sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live because he took warning; also you will have delivered your soul.”

Today I heard a lot on forgiveness, and was able to be a witness to a true miracle where strongholds were tore down due to forgiveness, where one man had sinned against another and the unforgiveness went on for so long it began to tear him apart within, so much so that his outward appearance was reflecting it, however when he forgave the man who sinned against him, a enormous weight seemed to lift off of him and he looked at such a peace I have not seen in anyone in a long time. This event led me here, and inspired me to right this. The first thing that I have learned on forgiveness is that in order to truly forgive someone you have to be willing to accept an apology that may never come. The second is that forgiving someone is primarily for the person who is the victim, and finally when you forgive someone although it is ultimately for you, you are setting two people free from bondage.  For unforgiveness only hurts the individual and traps them in bondage, so don’t you think the enemy will try his best to keep that unfogiveness within the individual?

Matthew 6:14-15 NIV

For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Colossians 3:13 NIV

Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

Ephesians 4:31-32 NIV

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

The GOD lens

So, I have been trying my very best to look at GODs hand moving, in every situation, every moment and aspect of my life and the world around me. To try and not get focused on the go, go, go of life and take a second to enjoy the beauty of the people and world around me, the world he created. To be ever vigilant for the love, joy, and good in all things, and in all situations. Which is something I rarely used to do, especially when I was so focused on everything that was going wrong. My travels had taken me to Walmart where I saw these tabloids and just regular lustful magazines they put all over, but up in the corner I saw Jesus, and my first thought  was “Wow! at least Jesus gets to show up to the party.” Which got me thinking even farther, a year ago I would have thought “wow, my Jesus gets the smallest tabloid around all this crap!” and been upset about it, and that really really got me thinking even more about Jesus’ ministry, he didn’t surround himself with people who were “good guys” no he took the broken, and made them whole. He took the sinners, and made them righteous. my thoughts rested on, He surrounded himself with these magazines. That is when I heard “Joshua, all I need is the smallest little section, and I can light up the whole store. If I can do this for you by just one tiny little magazine, what do you think your life will do for the whole world?”

Matthew 5:14

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.”

Matthew 17:20

He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
